Dr. Scott grew up in Port Orchard but has spent every moment he could in Belfair on the Hood Canal, either fishing or swimming. He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1996 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Central Washington University in 2000. Dr. Scott moved to Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. He graduated in 2004 with honors as a radiology intern and clinical teaching assistant. Dr. Scott gained amlost three years experience as an associate doctor in Port Orchard before purchasing Belfair Chiropractic Center. In addition to his practice in Belfair, Dr. Scott works part time at the Skokomish Tribal Health Center.
Dr. Scott's approach is to provide adjustment techniques and a level of care for his patients that recognizes their individual needs. Educational classes are provided on topics such as chiropractic and general healthcare. Dr. Scott is certified to teach classes in advanced spine and core rehab and fitness. This type of spinal muscle training is critical for keeping the spine healthy, holding adjustments longer, preventing and healing from injuries. Rachel runs the front desk and will help you with any questions that you might have. She can bill most insurance companies including Medicare and Auto, Worker's compensation and the VA. We are Preferred Providers for most medical insurance companies. Before working for Dr. Scott she was a patient.
Shontel Sutton-Heim is a licensed massage therapist in our office. She performs medical massage as well as relaxation and classic massage. She works by appointment only and her direct office phone number can be found on the home page and takes messages on the office phone number as well.
